About Us
Edenreach was founded to advance impact investing and drive positive environmental and social change with potential financial returns. Edenreach has three key objectives:
- Create an ecosystem to drive the development of ESG focused propositions.
- Provide third party ESG credential assessment and verification.
- Leverage the power of private capital to drive lasting ESG impact.
Using a global network of advisors and experts, Edenreach focuses on identifying key impact areas to support.,including but not limited to environment, climate change, human rights, justice reform, access to justice, foreign aid, and equality. We believe in the potential of impact investing as a potent tool for driving environmental and social transformation.
What is Impact?
Impact can be split into three main themes: Environment, Social, Governance (ESG).
Environmental
This aspect assesses issues like sustainable use of natural resources and sensitivity towards ecological threats. For example, carbon footprint or restoring biodiversity etc…
Social
The social aspect of impact funds grades the companies based on how they treat their supply chains and their workforce. For example, gender or racial equality, child labor etc…
Governance
Lastly, this part scrutinizes the decision-makers and major stake owners in companies. For instance, lawsuits against a company owner or a bad criminal reputation.
These in turn can be aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG)
